ive already done alot of work on this chest. it was in very bad shape when i got it. im curently cleaning up the wood on it sanding off the nasty brown chipped stain.. im not sanding all of the stain off just the top layers

if you compare the right side of the chest to the top you can see the difrence. the top has been sanded down the right side hasnt been touched yet. Last comment 09/14/2011.

Ahh yes the uber scary inside. the inside is going to take me the most time. i need to scrape off the crappy paper sand the wood down bnuild a shelf to go into it and then im thinking about lining the inside with velvet. Last comment 05/14/2010.

there is alot of metal corners and casing around the chest. its very old and rusted. im going to sand off the rust and polish it. im not going to sand it all off though i want it to keep its old look.. but want to get rid of the OLD look :) Last comment 08/08/2010.

the wood is pretty chewed up on this side. im going to just do my best to sand it down and not looks so bad i could replace the peace of wood but id rather keep it as orginal to the outside as possible Last comment 06/06/2010.
